What has happened in the last few weeks?
In our quarterly software update: "Pineapple" we give you an overview of current bug fixes, new features and visual adjustments in the Shopstory app.
- Come on board - the Onboarding Wizard is here!
Gone are the days of complicated setups. With the new Onboarding Wizard, our new customers can perform the technical setup easier than ever before. The user is guided through every step! However, if you have any difficulties, our customer support is still there to help you personally. - Performance is key
With the introduction of another performance monitor, it is now possible to set that keywords that have a good ROAS are not paused, even if another performance monitor would have triggered a pause. - Improved UI in reports
Overlapping texts and broken views are a thing of the past. You can now add as many columns as you want in the Google Ads Performance Report, as the report is now horizontally scrollable. - More attention with the Promotion Extension
After the Sitelink and Callout Extensions, you can now also find the Promotion Extension from Google in Shopstory. With the Promotion Extension you can easily draw attention to special offers in your store, without additional costs. You can find the feature in the settings in the tab "Google Ads". Try it out right now! - Focus on the most important things - Dashboard
Tidying up creates order and clarity. That's why we have cleaned up the dashboard and added important information. In the project statistics you can now find information about your store elements, your ads and keywords - all at a glance. - Make your ad more relevant - Keyword placeholder
Whether your ad is played by Google depends on many factors. Ad relevance is one of them. The better your ad is tailored to what your customer is looking for, the higher the probability that your ad will be played by Google, but also that the customer will click on the ad! The keyword placeholder ensures that the term the customer is searching for in Google is included in your ad text. This makes every ad "tailor-made". You can add the keyword placeholder either in the templates or directly in the store elements to be advertised.

- Performance Max campaigns in Shopstory
Maybe you already have Performance Max campaigns running in Shopstory. Then we have great news for you! In the next quarter, you will be able to create and manage your Performance Max campaigns directly through Shopstory. In classic Shopstroy fashion, we've also come up with optimizations for Performance Max campaigns that will make your life easier. Cluster products in product lists and promote them in Performance Max campaigns with just a few clicks. The connection to the Google Merchant Center saves you from having to create assets. And if a product doesn't perform the way you want it to, it will either be paused based on the rules you create. - Negative Keyword List
Negative keywords are an effective way to make your search ads more efficient. We are currently working on making negative keyword lists in Shopstory especially easy for you to access - so you can reach the customers you want to reach and not spend money on unnecessary clicks.
